Summer's over

Some beautiful black and whites my friend took while visiting for the summer.......

Brussels/Bruxelles

A beautiful city.  Again, urban/medieval mix.  I really dig.  I avoided the temptations of warm sticky, crunchy, soft waffles with fresh chocolate and whipped cream slathered all over them and the lure of the scent of frietjes wafting from the frituurs.  I live in Belgium now, so sampling these fried and fabulous delights on a daily basis is something my waistline, heart and skin will not allow!
Unfortunately I can't give you much of the history of this stunning city, as I did allow myself one little big refreshing delight on this warm sunny day......pintjes!  So my head was a little hazy and off with the medieval fairies and modern day tarts I watched strutting by....!

It's supposed to be good luck if you rub this statue.  Personally, I was more concerned with the antibacterial hand wash I didn't have in my handbag. HA!

I was pervin' over vintage bikes online and came across this DEMON temptress. Words cannot express quite how badly I want it.
